Fascinating three-hour small group walks in nature around the iconic Hadrian's Wall
Service Description
History, stories, nature and foraging! From the famous Hadrian’s Wall Path, explore a slower, deeper experience of this extraordinary landscape on these seasonally-themed walks. Led by Dr Juno, a local permaculturist, nature coach and forager living within the Wall's influence, the walks blend seasonal plant knowledge, Roman landscape and folklore stories, and gentle nature-connection practices. You’ll learn to identify a selection of edible and medicinal plants, discover how the Wall’s history shaped the ecology around it, and leave with simple ways to reconnect with nature in your everyday life. Choose from walks based around the wall from Magna, The Sill, Housesteads or Heavenfields, all of which can be reached by public transport (check your needs before booking). Who teaches it?
